Musical adventures Classes are carefully tailored to each stage of development from babies to preschoolers and children are encouraged to participate exploring different musical resources and props in the process of music making. The children will have a chance to explore with their senses different resources such as shakers, scarves, headbands and lots of props whilst using their bodies to foster their own physical development and learn actively.Our Music & Movement sessions will enable children to keep building up skills such as listening, coordination, following specific instructions whilst improving their gross motor skills. At Funky Cheeky Monkeys we follow the EYFS requirements within each age stage in order to create enabling environments so that active learning and development takes place.
Bilingual Adventures
We all know that introducing a second language at an early stage has innumerable
advantages for brain development.
Speaking and singing in more than one language not only will enhance their cognitive
skills but it will give them cultural awareness whilst getting their brains ready for their
educational success. Children develop quickly in the early years so introducing a second language through music and songs is by far the most effective way to set a bilingual journey.
These sessions also include music and movement to introduce basic notions of the
Spanish language and build up their vocabulary in a fun and stimulating environment.
