Funky Cheeky Monkeys offers an interactive and fun programme in which babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers learn through stimulating top-quality music sessions. 

Our Mission

We transform early childhood (ages 0-4) into an adventure of rhythm and fun, where music fuels brain development.

We offer parents a safe, stress-free space to strengthen family and social bonding through shared joy.

Not only are the children introduced to basic notions of music such as melody and rhythm but they also develop invaluable interpersonal skills including turn-taking and sharing whilst listening and participating actively.

Music is by far one of the best tools to connect, enrich or bond with babies or toddlers and on top of its advantages, it impacts positively on brain development as it paves the way to building everlasting linguistic abilities.

Who is behind Funky Cheeky Monkeys?

Hi! My name's Maria, founder of Funky Cheeky Monkeys and mum to two girls. I Music has always been part of my life, since a really young age and the best memories I treasure are those of my family and I sharing a musical gathering. I moved to SW London in 2020 and since then I’ve been singing to little ones, from babies to preschoolers within nursery settings all around South West London, doing birthday parties at weekends and teaching Spanish after school clubs in Sheringdale Primary School as well as Babies and Toddler group classes near SW London.

My love of music and teaching has led me to develop my own musical programme for stimulating babies, toddlers and preschoolers into their own musical journey in a dynamic and fun way.

I’m passionate about instilling a love of music in children and I honestly don’t see myself doing anything else. I truly believe that the power of music is pivotal in child development so I’m here on a mission to spread songs, kindness and joy!
